The Excel Story

Excel Career College opened as a computer college in 1989. Since then, the curriculum has expanded dramatically, but our focus has remained the same: To provide relevant training to get you into the workforce quickly.

College founder and president, Pauline Stevenson and Bisman Arora, Chief Executive Officer, remain dedicated to changing people’s lives by offering hands-on training with a career focus. The programs at Excel are designed within this vision so that the skills students develop in class are the transitional tools that essentially walk them into their new careers.

Since early 2022, Excel Career College has undergone rapid expansion bringing our respected approach to dynamic hands-on learning to students throughout BC including new campuses that are open or opening soon in Victoria, Powell River, Surrey, and Kelowna, in addition to our head office in the Comox Valley (Courtenay).

Among the many awards it has acquired over the years, Excel was awarded the Professional Business of the Year in 2022 by the Vancouver Island Business Examiner Awards!

Excel is PTIB Designated and is a designated institute through the BC Student Assistance Program(Student Aid BC), and all diploma programs offered at Excel qualify for funding options.
