Excel Launching New Victoria Campuses

Excel Career College Victoria Campus

Excel Career College, a 33 year-old career education institution first established in Courtenay, has announced it is opening two new campuses in the Victoria area.

Excel is opening a campus on Douglas Street in downtown Victoria (Feb. 22), and shortly thereafter will open a campus in Langford bringing its unique hands-on, career building skills approach to area.

We are so excited to be opening these two campuses and offering our programs and services to the Capital region. Our organization’s strength is identifying industries that have workforce shortages, and training specifically to meet those industries in need. 99% of our students will go straight into the workforce because of this approach.
— Pauline Stevenson, Founder and President, Excel Career College

Over their history, Excel has achieved this success by developing extensive relationships with employers across key industry sectors throughout the province and bringing on faculty and guest lecturers with real-world experience. Seafood, Healthcare, Marine Safety and Finance related diplomas are a few examples of their main programs, complimented by short module courses that feature specific skills development including bookkeeping and accounting, business communications, and jobs search skills training.

Excel was recently acquired by the Arora Group of Companies that boasts 25 years in Canadian International student recruitment, immigration, and foreign worker placements creating a powerful combination of education and immigration services.

We are passionate about the success of our students and introducing Excel in these important coastal and rural communities will allow us to support career and education pathways throughout the province.
— Bisman Arora, Executive Director, Excel Career College

Excel’s other campuses currently include Courtenay / Comox, Cranbrook and Williams Lake. Additional campus announcements are expected soon.

Excel Career College is designated with the Private Training Institutions Branch under the Ministry of Advanced Education, and maintains representation with the BC Career Colleges Association, the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business and Education Quality Assurance for accepting international students.
