President Nominated for Prestigious Award

RBC Nomination - Excel Career College

We are thrilled to announce that our President is a nominee for the 28th annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards! Pauline Stevenson is honored and is feeling very appreciated as this is her 4th award nomination so far in 2020!

In January, Pauline was awarded the Presidents Merit Award at the 2019 Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards Gala. Pauline was attending as a support to one of our team members who was awarded the You Rock Youth Award and also representing Excel Career College which was a finalist for the Business of the Year Award. She was completely caught off guard when she was awarded the President’s Merit Award, which is a surprise category! Next, Pauline was nominated for the Canadian Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CANIE) Awards organized by the Innovators and Entrepreneurs Foundation. Shortly after that, we heard that Pauline had been nominated for the BC Business Women of the Year Awards, organized by BC Business. Most recently, she has now been nominated for this RBC award!

The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards is the premier national awards program, which celebrates the achievements of the most successful Canadian Female Entrepreneurs. Now in its 28th year, over 160 women have been formally recognized for demonstrating excellence. Award Recipients are recognized for a variety of achievements, ranging from economic growth to social change, from local to global reach, across multiple sectors.

The recipients will be recognized in November at the 28th annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards Gala, which will be taking place in Toronto, Canada.
